Makes: 2 cups


  • 1 cup spring onions, green part only
  • Half a cup carrots, chopped
  • Half a cup celery, chopped
  • Quarter cup fresh unpeeled ginger, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp garlic-infused olive oil


  1. Chop the vegetables evenly-sized.
  2. Heat the oil over medium high heat.
  3. Sauté the vegetables until tender.
  4. Do what you will with them – great for base you would use onions and garlic for normally, but with the added touch of ginger – great  for Asian-style dishes.
